Non Duality - Orienting to the Changeless: About the Course

This course presents the heart of my work. However deep we go with our practices, whatever apparent gains we make, we are still inherently surrounded by and filled with the still, compassionate awareness that we call 'now'. When this is recognized, it becomes clear that we are going nowhere and achieving nothing, and this recognition allows the natural course of our evolution to unfold without effort.  Whenever we orient to some change that is not currently occurring, we inherently orient away from the eternal stillness that is the essence of all the changes occurring in the present. This course presents a simple, clear and accessible introduction to connecting with the changeless. It is a seed that we must attend to, and in doing so this seed will cultivate itself and constantly flourish in unexpected ways. If we ignore it or approach it with loaded expectations, we inherently go to war with ourselves and reality as a whole.  All that is required is recognition.

Meet Your Instructor: Craig Mallett

I hesitated to present this work publicly, as non-duality is such a tired topic in many spiritual circles. Despite this hesitation, the unknown has compelled me to present my particular approach to it, and so this course was born. My exploration of the non-dual orientation has several key figures that influence it. First and foremost are the teachings of Adyashanti, and while I can't know for certain, I suspect it is a seed passed from him to me during a 2018 retreat in New York where this work originates. Peter Kingsley and David Chaim Smith have also had a deep impact on my understanding and the simple nature of my work, along with my ongoing research into traditional Daoist concepts. These teachings are not to be taken at face value. Rather if I have presented this work properly, it will be the stillness behind the words and guidance which you must connect with and recognize and become. As the old saying goes, it's like a finger pointing to the moon - focus on the finger and you will miss all that heavenly glory.
